I left Facebook

Mum always tell me

” Keep Facebook with you dear”

For in there are your friends

Your life, Your dreams, your world.

And so I began piling

Photos, words, so dear

Hoping there will be a “liked”

From friends whom i called my world

Desperate I became,

When recognition and self-worth yield

I live for Facebook and the likes of the world

Take it down, my voice screamed

Tear it down, oh dear

For you are more

More than what Facebook said you were.
